No Spoilers
If you haven't read the story yet, or perhaps you'ee midway into it... no worries. There are no spoilers on this page or in any of the links. Eventually, I plan on adding bonus material and deleted scenes, but I'll put that stuff in a clearly marked section to avoid accidentally spilling the beans on anything in the novel.
"We're gonna rob them all, and they'll never know who did it. They won't even know how it happened."
I wrote Five Dollar Wrench to help people keep themselves and their Bitcoin safe. Here are five things I wish more hodlers understood.
I was meeting up with some friends at a pub. They were running late, so I bellied up to the bar. The guy sitting next to me introduced himself. Our brief conversation went like this.
If you follow the instructions on this page, your Bitcoin will be secure. It'll be hack-proof and thief-proof. And if anything goes wrong, you'll know how to easily recover it.
Very. And that's an understatement. Let’s talk about the odds of somebody getting the exact same seed phrase as you, or guessing yours.
Are you sure? Your seed phrase is a backup of your Bitcoin wallet. Hooray for backups! But also, whoa. What if somebody finds your backup? That's not a hack. That's robbery. And it's preventable.
I designed this website in plain text, and I wrote the code by hand. In a text editor. Old school. That's how it's done. Right?
P. S.
The novel's dedication reads,
For Hodlers
with love
I mean that from the bottom of my heart. It's why I took the time to write this stuff.
